Rising9 is a forward-focused community designed for 9th-grade lacrosse players who want to excel on and off the field. We unite athletes from all over the country with shared aspirations and provide actionable tools, mentorship, off-field educational opportunities, on-field training, and access to our Rising events and leadership.

 

Rising9 is the gateway to unlock a 9th grader's potential and dominate their freshman year in every way—academically, athletically, and socially—and prepare them for the recruiting journey ahead.

 

We provide mentorship in motion and are here to help instill confidence in our players for a lifetime of success and help them establish a lasting legacy of leadership in their journey in lacrosse and in life.

Freshman year is a defining moment for every student-athlete. It sets the tone for the next four years—both academically and athletically. Lacrosse competition intensifies, coursework becomes more demanding, and social pressures are real. Rising9 provides the tools and support to help athletes build strength, confidence, and leadership skills during this critical transition. Our program creates a strong foundation for success in high school—helping players excel in the classroom, dominate on the field, and grow beyond the game.

Kristan Ash

Rising Girls Director

 

Kristan is dedicated to developing the next generation of women's lacrosse players with decades of experience as a coach, mentor, and advocate. She's passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, character, and leadership skills during their formative years.

Former GM of pro women's lacrosse league

Launched & managed town lacrosse programs

Mentored athletes to college scholarships

Expert in recruiting guidance and athlete development

Passionate about building confidence & leadership in young athletes

More than Coaches

Most importantly, Kristan and Seth are lacrosse parents themselves. Their children have competed at the highest levels—representing the U.S. at a service academy, winning national championships, playing in Final Fours, earning All-American honors, and competing in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).

 

For more than a decade, they have led Rising Lacrosse and many other lacrosse brands and products with passion and purpose, helping players overcome obstacles, build confidence, and achieve excellence in the classroom, on the field, and in life.
